Daryl: As a chevy guy, are the original 68 carbs 4160 style with the metering block? With all the years of tweeking on these carbs, the racers and Mopar John Baumann found a way to make them work pretty darn good!!!

Your car and set up really looks in your photos and better in person. I hope to set the motor in my new project in the next week or two and I will send you some photos. There is still a windage issue that is being worked out and the builder figures he has a handle on the issue. That big 4 3/4" stroke causes problems that you do not find in smaller strokes, windage and drain back are big concerns to deal with.
