Because they can.
In 2008, I had a gold card, so I ran my crate motor car in Stock, and drove Johnny Fisher's Mirada in Super Stock. Finished 6th in the world in Super Stock. Brian Rowe won a couple in Richie DeCola's stocker Camaro that year too. I told him they were going to come up with *minimum* tire width rule!

Didn't always work... Super Stock was first out each day at the Columbus LODRS last year! Had rain coming into the weekend. After prep, I was *the* first car down the track. 2nd best 60' since we backhalfed the car. -=thumbs up=-
