Default Re: Dinner Out 2, is a go!

Hi All

It is that time of year again when it’s time to get together for a night out of bench racing! Maybe we can get Brian Clayton a little “unfocused” for a couple of days so the rest of us have a better chance in May!

Info:

Johnny Rooco’s Italian Grill (Downstairs)
6889 Lundy’s Lane
905-358-0004

6pm till ?
We will be ordering off the menu

Last we pulled together over $500 dollars to put towards “extra” awards at the yearend banquet, and from the feedback I got, it was well received. I am hoping we have similar support this year.
The reasons I find Stock/ Super Stock racing so interesting includes many things. The friendships we build, the competitiveness of everyone involved, the diversity of the classes (the number combinations is awesome!), and the good news stories of new sponsors, new race teams, new combinations etc.

He is what I am proposing this year…

I will put together a “sponsor list” for the night. This sponsor list can include anyone, a business or individual. Email me some information, and I will announce it at the dinner. Tell us about your business, your race program changes or anything else you’d like to. The cost is $20 per. We’ll take that money and put it in a pot to pay for free memberships. Then we will sell raffle tickets at the dinner for $20 each for the memberships. The money raised from the draws will go towards Members Awards at the 2013 banquet.

Please NOTE ***** I really need to give the restaurant a heads up on the number of people that will attend. They want to know so they can have the proper server/ customer ratio! So, it is not a requirement to tell us your coming, but if you know you can come, please let us know. As well if anyone is interested in the $20 dinner sponsorship add that to your email back to me. If a dozen people get together and come through, that’s 2 memberships covered! The more the merrier.

RSVP – by Wednesday, January 16, 2013.

Looking forward to seeing you all in a couple of weeks!
Thank you
Ian
