My mistake guys ... I should clarify "local". The car is an '04 Corvette that will run IHRA Pure Stock in C/PS. There are a couple divisional/national IHRA races here in Texas so I'll never have to drive more than 5 hours or so. Yes, we'll bracket race at our local track but we would also like to run class so having an enclosed will be nice for the three-day events. Will the 4.8L tow 6,500lbs. on flat ground safely knowing that I won't be doing too much passing?
