I 100% agree with what everyone said. If you missed this race, shame on you. I have fun at all races. I fully believe a bad day at the track still beats a good day at work. Even after being laughed at by an NHRA track official for asking about a clean up run at E-Town (yes, I am naive), I shook it off and still had fun because I was doing what I love. For the .90 Nationals, I didn't have to shake anything off, I was just naturally having fun. It was relaxed but not drawn out. And the pit area was very fuel friendly--25 runs between my dad and I and we used probably only 12-13 gallons. The track was great, the people were great, and Bob signing off the day with Sinatra over the loudspeaker was just classic.
My one critique---family members should be exempt from racing each other until the finals.....jk, that was a great race, glad I was in the water box to watch it!!
