this is the unfortunate result of nhra's success going mainstream ( and hollywood). We may remember a time when we wish our beloved sport would get the recognition it so deserved , but should have been careful for what we wished for. Nhra has just forgotten that the biggest supporters of the sport aren't the corporate sponsers, but the grass roots racers patronizing the local tracks nationwide,who race for the love of it, not the money.
