Has anyone taken into account that the combo was going to get hp anyway. Even without the instant hit. So what did he effectively do? Get another 1 percent? All prior runs are now wiped clean and they start a new on that combo.
It's his car and it's up to him what he wants to do with it.
A couple of years ago I heard of someone dumping a class win so as not to get hit. To me that makes no sense at all. But it was not my car.
It is supposed to be a performance based sport. So work harder.
