The overhang brings up a funny time about 10 years ago at a points race. I was at the scale when a very fast 68 camaro came by. The tech man was harping on something on someones car that had no effect what so ever on performance or classification etc. I pointed out that since when does a stocker 68 camaro with a 27-28" front tire, sitting very low, have the front of both the front and rear fenders trimmed allot, and a new beed rolled into it, then there was such a gap at the rear of the tires it looked weird? The tech man said that is not happening. The funny part is I was looking over his shoulder at the car and he did not turn around to look...LOL...I did not point out the car to him, just making a statement. I thought that was a funny. Those racers were very sharp and had fooled the tech people for years....I did not say anything to anyone.....Have you seen how they measure overhang? Talk about no where near accurate.
