e-mail I received from Ray, the owner driver of the '70 AMC Javelin that was onlast weeks Pinks-All Out:
I ran a 10.96 @ 117 and then blew the motor, it was a 406 with stock rods,
roller cam, indy intake, 5 speed Lenco with 3:12 first, 31 X 14 tires and
5:38 Dana.
I tried my new 435 820 H.P. motor last Saturday on a haff pass trying to
break it in and lost most of the oil preasure.
I removed the motor and I'm leaving for West Virginia tomorrow so the
engine builder can work on it.
I will let you know what happens.
Tell Rob that I will call on the clutch soon to have it set up.

Ray just bought one of my spare Advanced Clutches. That with his new AMC engine should have him deep into the 9's. Looks like Pinks likes these AMC's!!!
