"Eighty-year-old Don Garlits, arguably the greatest drag racer in history, had a bad couple of days last weekend. He had to check his wife, Pat, into the hospital last Friday and then on Sunday he suffered a stroke. Garlits has sent out a note saying that he is recovering nicely from the stroke with no serious damage."

My prayers go out to Don and Pat. I recently had a good talk with Don at the PRI, he is a remarkable person. Positive thoughts and prayers do help. Jim
