I went out to Oahe Speedway in Pierre, SD for the Aaron Koppien/Jon Christensen Memorial Stock/Super Stock event on Saturday, 9/24/11.

It was a beautiful fall day, and racing was great.

The track personnel treated me like I was royalty, and gave me the run of the place.
I really appreciate that.

Doug Engels, Watertown, SD (SS/GM 1957 Corvette) was the winner over Curt Hieb (E/SA 1998 Firebird) of Chamberlain, SD, in the combo final.

Ron Mattson of Cloquet, MN was the low qualifier in his Lucas OIl Nationals winning H/SA Camaro.
