Sincere thanks to Kevin McKenna, and the great photographers at National Dragster, for the very nice article. It is nice to see Chris recognized again for his contribution to racing, and to our car.
For anyone who wonders, there is a rumor about that little wisp of dust that you see spin and rise at the end of the track after a car runs here in Indy.
Some say it is just dust. But some of us who really do know something about it, are pretty sure that Chris' ashes got loose at Indy. And what you see after a run, is a little bit of Chris cheering them on, and ushering every racer safely to the end of the track.

Good luck to you this week David. Your comments at the end truly bring a tear to my eye....the loss I am sure is still raw. You will always have your racer family to help you carry the load. I never met Chris but felt I knew him through his contributions here, and I was devastated by his passing. FWIW, his way too early death made me put my mental house in order, re-assess priorities, and I have an extra sense of appreciation for all I have and all I know. Each day is a gift.
