Default Re: Looking For A Sponsor

Cody Pete's right, what you need to do is identify a way you can help some one's business and a way to demonstrate that you are doing so. If you can demonstrate to a business man that you can increase his business at least enough to offset his investment in advertising with you or more then you have something to offer him.
What your selling is advertising exposure.
Granted this is not easy to do and that's why sponsors for bracket racers are few and far between. I have had a couple of modest sponsorships in the past but it takes considerable effort to provide them with the necessary exposure to help their sales. In addition to racing I did car show s, cruse nights, parades and anything else I could think of to ge their names in front of the public.
Do some research, give it some thought, prepair a reasonable proposition/proposual and always under promise and over deliver.
Good Luck!
