Default Re: Almost "Live" from the NHRA Napierville National Open

Big miracle - even with rain today Bob Lang and his small group of D1 guys managed to get this race in tonight .By 7pm tonight they ran the final with 42 racers showing up for first round earlier . The winner -- Jacques Blais with his sharp GT/EA Mustang along with the runner-up being Louis Gill driving the Perigny / LaFontaines owned '69 Camaro convertible . The final was - get this - a double red-light affair -006 and -007 -this should spark the first / worse red light debate again .
Thanks again to Gary Richard / PC Richard & Son who again sponsored this event that many are looking forward to next year already .
Also thanks go out to track owner Ronald Brunet & family who I'm told were wonderful hosts all weekend .
