The Mid Atlantic Super Gas Association will invade Numidia Dragway for 2 races on Father’s Day Weekend June 18th & 19th. This will be the 5th year that MASGA has visited the “Thrills in the Hills” in Numidia, Pa.

Iggie Boicesco the 4 time MASGA Champion and 2006 World Champion has become known as “Mr. Numidia”. In 6 races held at Numidia Boicesco has claimed victory at 4 of the races and is the defending champion of this event. Only George Smith and Bob Phillips have been able to say they have won a MASGA race at Numidia Dragway. MASGA has already completed 1 weekend of racing back in May at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Md.

For anyone looking to come out for a race and is wondering what is the difference between Super Gas in MASGA and NHRA here is a brief breakdown. The only true difference between MASGA and the NHRA is the Christmas tree as we run on a true pro .400 tree and not the .370 tree used at Divisional and National Event competition. Also, once qualifying is completed we go on a true NHRA Sportsman ladder to make for a much even playing field. For 1st round only, the higher qualified car gets lane choice for 1st round only. Finally, the best thing about MASGA is that we complete each race in one day. There is no waiting around for time shots on one day and straight into eliminations on another day. Each day is a new race with Two Qualifying shots in the morning and straight into first round until a winner is determined that night.

Another added bonus to join MASGA at Numidia on Father’s Day Weekend is what Track Owner Bob DiMino is doing for the Association. DiMino is stepping up to the plate and guarantying the payout of $1,000 to the winner on each day. Dimino has also added an additional bonus for the MASGA Crew. If the car count is over 30 cars Dimino will up the payout to the winner to $1,500 dollars. Dimino will once again live up to his name as the track with the “Guaranteed Payout”.

Entry fee for the race is as follows. To be paid at the gate is $35.00 each day and then once you get situated and unloaded you need to pay Lucky or Leanne the $70.00 enter to run the MASGA Race each day. You can race on one day or both, it is not required that you attend both days.

For those that are not computer savvy you can always just show up and we will have all the paperwork at the trailer waiting for you.
