I had won 1 race that paid that much. I asked him where he was from. He said Florida. They raced 1/4 mile too. I could'nt beleive those tracks got away with that little payout.
We are spoiled in the Carolinas, and the racers don't realize it.

The 1/4 tracks here are Gainesville,Orlando,Bradenton and the old Moroso, now PBIA. Raced for years at Moroso, decent payout, Bradenton and Orlando are dead cheap,$300-$400 footbrake win money
I did a season at SGMP,pro winner and sportsman champion, I won $850 for the season.
I'm ready to build a 330' track in my back yard!
