DQ is DQ it should not count. If there was enough of a reason to disqualify him. wether they thought it was performance oriented or not.
Did Sorensons run count when he was light?
Seems like politics as usual for nhra no changes.

Unless the racer himself decided to bring up an illegal modification after they made the run to avoid the hit. Like draining the water to make the car light.
