I'm saying if all manufacturers filled the guide with all their cars at low rating for their own purpose. (the purpose of getting lots of new/current cars in the limelight)
Pick any car/any manufacturer and set the factor at .5hp per cube. (I think the start out for most was .56-.60 except for ringers)
150 cubes = 75hp
200 cube = 100hp
and so on.
Suddenly a 355hp flex with awd rated at 175hp is kicking ***. Easy to build, easy to run index, ALL STOCK PARTS with the exception of converter etc. Hey, how about make a pure stock class with really low factor, might accomplish the same thing (not the current IHRA pure stock, pure stock with really low factor)....351C 71 mustang is 294hp in stock but 175hp in pure stock? New camaro at 175hp in pure stock? Think there wouldn't be a ****load of NEW cars being built? LOL!
