My understanding is that a cage does not automatically require a net. If it did, why aren't you required to have the rest of the safety gear a 9.99 or 135 triggers as that's when you need the net?

In the same vein though, I've seen tech tell people with a roll bar in a car that runs high 11's they have to run a 5 point harness. Take the bar out and your 40 year old seat belts are good to go. I really can't figure that one out.
