I am asking because I don't know for sure and cannot think of one until the admission of the Drag Paks and Cobra Jets by the NHRA into Stock Eliminator. Can you name any other combo, prior those two, that didn't meet emissions and licensing for the street at the time produced?

As far as emissions goes a 69 Camaro, never had to pass an emissions check. Neither did a Street Hemi, or a Max Wedge.
And I think with the right programmer you could get the new cars past.
Remember they are electronicly controlled.
