The only thing "trick" about Morso trick springs is getting them in the car. If you have to cut them then the spring isn't what it was designed to be. 1 coil won't change the rate much but as Jeff said you're better off with the right spring the first time. If Moroso makes a spring that bolts in and ride height is correct then you're fine. If not, it's a bunch of work to end up with a compromise.
