When I ran my car in Stock I used an airbag and crusher springs out of a 1976 Cougar. Keep in mind though I had a LOT of weight in the back to make 3300lbs. in N/SA.

Jeff, the problem with not cutting the springs is the front end of the car sits nosed up, a lot. I cut mine to get the ride height I wanted and never had any troubles. It had great 60' times (low 1.50's) and did big wheelies for a "N" car. C4 with a 2.92 low. 4.86 gear with Hoosier "short" radials.
