Do you think 6 or 8 (high estimate) fewer cars will hurt their bottom line worse that loosing several sponsors? Remember they (NHRA) get the uncollected contingency money at the end of the year. They are running a business, same as the mfgrs paying the contingency money. Times are tough for businesses right now. They aren't out to hurt Art Long.
That's right times are tough If I or anyone else quits I doubt we will be buying any parts. That is the reason for the contingency. Right? nhra is supposed to be a non profit organization. So having to pay out less should not effect there bottom line.
And I can probably tell you next years enhancement. Class runs only at the 4 races. They can save more tropies that way.
You do realize this will ultimately help me. Because of supply and demand my trophies will be worth more on ebay.
