Default Re: Danny Gracia TCB

When I was hanging around Batten Heads in the late 70"s Batten was doing acid ported heads for Stock, Super Stock & Super Modifed also they were redoing the Cutter Maching in the Bowl under the valve seat.. Also avaiable was actual porting the hidden by Shot Peening and all this passed. NHRA Tech. The acid porting was done in the old wooden porting booths on the east side of the building.. The fumes were so bad. A note is that on East side of his shop there was a Dannon Yogurt Dist center, the line their truck up nose to the fennces so they could load the trucks from the rear a fuuny thing happened the trucks that face the shop had hood that rusted out in front, you think it might have been the ACID???????

Now we have acid; carbide and diamond dust; and all kind of "TRICKS" and Slight of Hand... And it's all "Legal".

Ooops, I keep forgetting, It's not whats legal that matters, it's whats accepted that counts.

(excuse my naivete, but what does "TCB" stand for?)
