Somewhere I read that a master cylinder from a front wheel drive application isn't a good choice!?

I have a 10-1821 NAPA/Cardone on my car. Application is a Volare/Aspen with manual disc brakes. I used a resevoir from the van/truck version just for the extra capacity. You just have to break off a tab or two on the underside to allow it to fit a "car" master cylinder.

Also have a 10-1860 with a bigger bore from a truck application. I forgot what the application is specifically, probably manual disc also.
