ONAN...... has the best units out there......in the diesel RV market. 5500kw to 12,500kw

If your looking for something larger than the average RV diesel.....

PowerTechs are pretty decent......in the larger units 15 and 20 kw.....They are quite large and heavy and open...not in an enclosure and need a lot of space....

Generac ranks well below the other two

We have one of all 3 brands in our shop right now......

Generac burned up it's brushes....
PowerTech.... radiator neck fell out.....solder joint failed...
Onan 7500 Inverter won;t run and shuts down in various fault codes and not sure whats wrong with that one.......It is a difficult unit to repair as it was front mounted in a big Fleetwood Discovery motorhome. No access to wrok on it and I had to remove the nose to get the genset out.....fixed mounted.....5000hrs........

I still prefer the Onans........and I work on them all the time....
