Default Re: Musclecars That Should Have Been Made

I've heard about the 66' Chevelle SS427, but never saw one.
Would have been classed in A/S in 66'. But never seen any results of one campaigning in that class.
Here's one that almost got done. A very-late project for 1967. 1967 Plymouth Barracuda/Dodge Dart with a 383/343HP dual-quad Carter-carbed set-up, just like the 62' 383/343HP combo. Unfortunately, the exhaust manifold problem could not be remedied, restricting exhaust flow. Not a bad combo for a 3150lb. car on the street/strip.
Car would have fit nicely in C/SA for 1968, when the wt/hp breaks got straightened out.
Paul,,,,,,,Keep them coming, great wish list!
