I agree with Monty....who ever sent this letter is most likely involved with the theft and probably feels threatened, which shows some hope.
Floyd NEVER asked for ANYTHING. He only voiced his devastated feelings towards the lowlifes that would do such a bottom feeding act.
To the ball-less a-hole who sent the letter: I think the one who puts their hand out IS YOU. 
The work of a thief makes the top of that list. Floyd on the other hand has done the opposite. He's put his work, money, time and effort into not only this project, but giving a bunch of kids an opportunity.
I'd say you're scared and perhaps YOU move on to something else that doesn't require stealing from those who've earned, like holding a cardboard sign at a highway exit or intersection. Floyd doesn't have the problem....YOU DO!!!
