Yes, 63.....And I ran at the old Orange, Mass. airport, a sanctioned 1/4 mi. NHRA strip, run by the New England Timing Assoc., which was still a active multi-runway airport at the time, although no planes were using the same strip on the Sundays we ran, sometimes sport parachutists would land on or real close to the track, holding things up at least once or twice during a event....Tasca Ford's F/X Thunderbolt, along with many other heavy-hitting GM, Chrysler, and Ford dealer- sponsored -east coast stock and superstock teams ran there often....Orange drag strip has been gone since the mid-late 60's, but it's still a fully operating, quite busy airport, w/a number of long runways... Anyone here remember it?
