1982 and 1983 malibu wgns are the same. Call it a 1983 because you can both 305 combos.

There are to different 305 combos for a wgn that year.

305ci Flat top piston 253 NHRA HP fits J/SA, K/SA and L/SA
The head you want is 416
Flat top piston
403/415 cam
432 or 055 intake

Combo number two
305ci Dish piston 230 NHRA HP fits M/SA, N/SA and O/SA
Same head as combo #1
Dish piston
357/390 cam
Same intake #'s as combo #1
