When i bought my first enclosed trailer in 1994 my agent added comprehensive coverage(fire and theft) for me. when I got the bill I questioned it (less than 50 for a year) and decided to keep the coverage. 11 years later and now a more expensive trailer (gold rush26 ft) , a tree in my yard falls on the trailer. 7 grand damage,(needs roof etc) they pay up and i drop it off at gold rush after the dutch, man was i happy, trailer is back to new.

I don't have coverage on my race cars

In the case of a moving accident with trailer, in massachusetts the insurance from the towing vehicle covers the loss to someone elses vehicle,and liability, but not the trailer
