Wow Kenny, I didn't realize you were that old, I just thought you looked the part. Wish him a "Happy Birthday" from me.
I know each kid is different and has different interest, but my 9 year old son would tell you he would prefer to be at the races on his birthday if given the choice. If he would just do what he is suppose to do and is capable of doing in school, he would get to go more often. I was planning to go to the Outlaw S/ST Association and SSSA race at SGMP the other week. The Sunday preceeding that race I sat my son down and told him I was going alone because his sister had to play in the band at the football game that Friday night so she and my wife had to stay home for that. I explained to him that if he did his class work in school and his home work when he came home that week like he was suppose to without me having to fuss at him then he could go with me to the race. He liked that idea of just him and I going to the races and camping out in the motorhome. Well sometime on Monday he forgot all about that and decided that it was more fun to be the class clown at school so the teacher had to take him out of the class to go see the school principal. Needless to say he had to stay home that weekend. I asked him why he wants to be so hard-headed, but I don't dare tell him I was exactly the same way when I was his age.
Hey Dan Moore, you're #1.
