Steve, I put in Manley stainless intake valves in my 565 this year cause the repair budget on the motor ran a little high and funds were a little tight. .....I normally only run titanium intake valve,as I broke several stainless intake valves over the years ,but never experenced exhaust breakage. .........So far this year, the only difference I've noticed is that the intake springs are back to loosing pressure faster than with the titanium valves.........From past experiances ,I only plan to run the stainless valves one season aand replace them. .......I' am convinced the biggest benefits from titanium valves on a BBC ,are seen on the intake valve. .....Lifter life and especially intake valve spring life are greatly improved., plus ,I have never experienced a catrostropic failure with the titanium valves. [not saying it can't and dos'nt happen. ,Just my experience} ......
