Re: Any interest in no t-stop index racing?
PTRA runs a .400 Pro Tree, with deep staging allowed. I ran a 7.0 race twice last year with my Stocker. Even going in deep, I was typically .040's on the tree. Giving up the E.T. by deep staging, I had to throw a bunch of Stocker tricks at it to make it go fast enough to hit the 7.0, which actually made it even more fun for me.
I was interested in seeing what kinds of ET's existing Super category or Rod category cars run wide open, to the point where they could easily adjust to a particular index, whether it be 8.0/9.0/10.0 or 8.50/9.50/10.50, etc. Not looking to change NHRA/IHRA, but rather provide another venue for a similar type of racing, potentially with strong fan appeal.
