I assume you guys run with 0.400 pro tree, no deep stage?
Back in the 80's we ran the Alston Super Series here on the West Coast. It ran the normal .90 classes, plus 7.90, 11.90 & 12.90. The first year it ran 12.50 & 13.50 instead of 11.90 & 12.90. Even the 13.50 class was 0.400 no-deep. Several slower 10.90 cars (trans brakes and throttle stops) ran in the 11.90 class, but I managed to win all but one race in the series with a foot-braked street car, adjusting ET by shift point, RT by launch RPM (both done manually just watching a tach). A lot of the 11.90 & 12.90 racers (myself included) went on to run regular NHRA .90 classes, so it was a good way to bring in the next "crop" of racers for the divisional and national events.
