Talking Re: Stocker engine tech

I guess NHRA and IHRA would LOVE this deal. Less overhead to take care of. No more tech crew other than some safety inspection. It wouldnt take rocket science to check cam lift and a couple of casting numbers. Less head aches from everyone bitching all of the time. No AHFS needed anymore. No more "OLD" tech guys needed anymore. No need to maintain specs other than some casting numbers. The new Mustangs could run as much boost as they wanted. No extra guys just to monator the runs to see if anyone ran 1.15 under or more. No fuel checks needed. Why have a scale guy to record the weights. Less motel rooms need at events for the association to pay for. Its a win win deal for them and a loose loose for the dedicated stock and S/S racers. Its a sad day if it ever comes to this. As much fun as the NSS and MANDRA races are its still bracket racing so why travel all over the place dragging a heavy trailer behind your tow vehicle. Just drive it to the track like we did in the old days.
