I would be real careful about walking around the pits with those IMPACT shoes that you have.

I heard that last week a racer had a shoe blowout and he almost lost a toe.

Only the quick action of NHRA Prez Tom Compton prevented further injury by throwing a half-warm beer on the smoldering shoe.
