Default Re: Nero fiddles while Rome burns

Some sort of sanity is running through the offices in Glendora. The oil down penalties for pros and sportsman racers has been rescinded for 2009 in the name of saving money for race teams.Since
most of the oil is spilled by the pros it's not a big factor in easing sportsman racers financial burden.
Holding the line on entry fees and other assorted fees would be a better way of showing us they appreciate our business.

Now we know how NHRA is going to make up the money that they usually bill the sportsman and pro racer for, oil downs. Make it up with a higher entry fee for the crews. NHRA is pulling the wool over everyone eyes, or at least they think they are! I'm surprised that NHRA hasn't added an additional surcharge on to the entry fee to national events and call it something like "our morgages needs to be paid off".
