Roll bar paint
 

So it's not hardcore tech, but who likes what paint for rollbars? I've heard POR-15 is really tough...

There are a lot of paints that are durable, but i've had real good luck with spray cans of rustoleum FUSION satin black. Its very user friendly and durable. Eastwood also some restoration blacks that are even tougher, but more expensive.

I used Por-15 on my rear end housing and rear suspension components.

I'm impressed with the results, the stuff is rock solid, looks as good as powdercoating.

I would think that it would work great on a roll bar

I've had really good results with Ace Hardware's Appliance epoxy spray paint. It covers really well and has excellent adhesion.with only light sanding of the tubing. .... I've used it a lot on dragsters and roadsters that I've done updates and repairs on. ... Its hard to tell the difference from the powder coating.. Tom

If you want to brush paint it, and make it look "sprayed" POR-15 looks great, but be aware that POR-15 does not like UV rays and will "power" with extended time in direct sun light (mostly only a problem with the bars that pass the rear window).
They say another paint that flows out real well when brushed on (use a foam brush) is a product that sign painters use called 1 Shot.

I was actually thinking of spraying the POR-15. I looked at their website, and they have a satin black paint called Chassis Coat. Apparently, the best way to use it is to apply it over original POR-15. The nice thing about Chassis Coat is that it's UV-resistant, so I'm going to look into that. But I know epoxy is very durable, so I'll have to check that out too.
