New Classes
 

SOOOO i am going to suggest 2 new classes/ elims.
A. Competition Stock and Superstock. first to break the beams.
But if you go more than 1.3 under then you get penalized like Comp.
NOBODY gets a trophy " Walter". Only money or gift card.

B. Vintage Stock/Superstock Run off of records after new records are set.
1970 Rulebook - Carbs only. Records verified by teardown by an elected
team of 3 current racers in ea.Elim. Rotated periodically, and overseen by NHRA tech officials. Trophys that mean something and contingency $$

How about Nostalgia Super Stock (using existing NMCA rules and allowed cars) traditional SS/ Stk cars can run it. It could be an entry level type class with NO electronics , trans brakes and EFI. It already has tons of competitors , proven cars, no exotic parts , policeable rules and attracts spectators.
This class has lots of support nationwide and when the quotas for Stk / SS fill up it can be a great option. Also some of the more beat up combos that cant qualify high up can dial it back and run it. Or save your Stk/ SS power plant and build a cheap NSS piece.
Lots of ways to look at this.
