S/SS Combo Sonoma May 25-26?
 

Heard today this might be happening, Ken Gentry is putting on with Sonoma Bracket weekend. Can anybody confirm??

Hey Alan-
I spoke with Ken and the Combo is on. He is looking for additional sponsors (Foggit has committed as a sponsor-thanks Steve and Shelby) and open to ideas from racers to make this event a success and something that can grow.

It?s on the website, but there is basically no schedule. The race on the 25-26 and one Labor Day weekend. That is it. The track manager would rather have road course clubs rent the facility.

Do I have this understood correctly.

Two days
170 x 2 = $340 for race
80 x 2 =$160 to track.

So: $500 Cost involved to race in the two races?

We don't have too many places to race against each other out here, these days, and even fewer opportunities to run at Sonoma. The weather should be excellent. I hope this race gets the support and attendance that it needs.

Too bad these dates are Street legal only. It'd be great if there was at least one more Bracket date.

From Ken Gentry-Dennis Paz of Paz Performance has stepped up to match Foggit and sponsor the race on May 26th (thanks Dennis!)

Jared-I couldn't agree more. Let's do our best to step up and support this event in order that we can see Stock/Super Stock Combo events continue in D7.

John-you are correct on the fees to enter.
