The first Sportsnationals
 

Trying to find what year the first Sportsnationals were? 1973? My Dad, Jimmy Taylor raced at one of the first years, he can't remember exactly which year it was, exactly 1973 or 1974
he has pretty good memory, but hard for anyone to remember everything.
What I am looking for is any info/coverage, National Dragster, magazine coverage, random picture, qualifying, entry list. I don't know if any of that ever existed?
I'm just trying to find anything showing he was there. It was the only National event he ever got to race and thought it would be nice if I could give him a souvenir, I wouldn't need the original, just a copy.

1974 was 1st year, Bobby Warren won Super Stock and Joe Moore won Stock.

I remember Car Craft magazine covered the Sportsnationals extensively. You might want to search for copies.
