Something is wrong

At the pro race, they are taking in 48x1400 = 67,200. They only increased the purse 5000. Please explain why this acceptable and the racers go right along with it?

We're doing it for multiple reasons.
Marketing for our partners as the exposure is good.
We have signage at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
Small field, less rounds.
Fuel cars and Pro Stocks up real close.
Home track, I know where the tree is located, and have friends there.
It's going to be fun
That I'm blessed to be able to participate.

because class racers aren't racing for $, if they were, they wouldn't be competing in the LODRS!

Some people spend waaaay more on an RV, boat and trailer than I do on my racing operation. Sit in the sun to catch fish and never make a dime back. I have family with tens of thousands spent on horses, tack and trailers that never make them a dime.

It's a something that we do and just hope to get a few dollars back, which is somewhat rare for hobbies. My opinion is I race for the fun of it. I like winning money like anyone but I will still race losing money every year.

Where did you see this? Is it posted somewhere?
I think last year was posted as winner take all for $30,000

I don't have 1400 bones to enter with so I have no idea what others are saying to justify the crummy deal. That said, my dad and I went to Lights Out 7 several years ago so he could run 6.0. Entry was like $200 to run for maybe $1500. Terrible deal, but we just wanted to go watch the fastest radial tire cars in the world at the time, so we went. I'd think many of the S/SS guys going to this race are in it for the experience as well.

In 2023 I went to the US Street Nationals to run 6.50 just because I wanted to see Bradenton for myself and see the fastest Pro Mods in the world. 10 hours each way but worth it, I'm glad I got to experience it.

How many divisional and national events do you have to win to equal the prize money offered here? Entry?s, fuel, wear and tear. Races like these are the best bang for the buck.

Unless this event is in your backyard as it is with the few that stated they were going. It?s a bad deal financially as well your only invited because they need filler between the Pros

Div I , Div II, DivIII Div IV and Div V racers are entered. Same as last year and I think a Div VI or VII racer was also there last year.
