SCAG Pro Shootout
 

With stock and super stock being showcased at the SCAG Power Equipment Pro Superstar Shootout coming up. Who?s going? What are yalls thoughts about the race? Will it be warm, cold, dry, wet who knows. I haven?t seen anyone on here talk about the race so I wanted some input about it from the racers being that it?s only 3 ish weeks away.

I would think because none of the daily/weekly posters here are going.

From a spectator point of view it was an amazing event. I'm going again this year.

I would love to go, but 2 things are holding me back, 1) Waiting on Pistons,
2) It is 2100 miles each way, which is OK, if it were closer to the Gainesville
dates, then I could do the PRO race, Orlando, Baby Gators, Big Gators,
then the 2 races at No Problem, and amortize the expenses over 6 events
instead of 1.

I am entered. The track is 50 miles from my house so I figured I would give it a try.
2 Q runs on Thursday, one on friday morning then round one for Stock and Super Stock

I am going in Stock.
Weather will be a toss up. We raced with NMCA for years and the season started at Bradenton for quite some time. It was warm by the start of March but not hot for sure. I suspect it will be warmer than it is in North Georgia is today and that is all that matters to me.

Last I saw, there were five spots left for Stock and five left for Super Stock.

From what I've been told there are plans to expand this race in the future to include all of the classes. I think smartly they have decided to see what they can handle first. So there is hope that this race will include all sportsman classes in the future which would be awesome.

We'll probably be the slowest entry.
