When did Nhra change stock from FI classes back to reglar stock indexes? Also what was the indexes for FI combos? Somebody have some old rule books out there. Thanks Tom

Hi Sir,
In 2008. FYI, FI Class weight breaks below. Still searching for the FI index... |
Re: What year did NHRA change the FI Class
Just scanning an old Indy qualifying sheet (and going off memory), I am pretty certain the indexes and weight breaks were the same as the corresponding "classic" stock class (so today's indexes plus 0.30). Although there was not a FI class for every classic stock class:.

It was 2003. I ran M/SA in 2002 and had to switch to G/FIA in 2003. Sorry Tom, I read it the wrong way LOL

A lot of times you can find things like this on the wayback macine. Here are indexes: https://web.archive.org/web/20060501...dexes_stk.html

Re: What year did NHRA change the FI Class
If my memory is correct the injected cars started in reg stock, then because they were faster then switched to a injected class and then it was switched back to the reg classes. Big Al showed up at the winters and went in the nines with his. When did the half pound classes start? I guess what I am looking for is when the LS1 got power in 2012 what class was it in? Thanks Tom
