2nd double divisional at Gateway in 2025
 

Heard something about division 5 holding an NHRA Double Divisional at Gateway Drag way in May of 2025, do to so many division 5 tracks closing or unavailable in 2025. Anyone else hear about this? And is there any truth to that race happening, in addition to the Double Divisional there in October 2025?

It was announced last weekend at WWT. D5 in May D3 in October. Both doubles.

I am all in for the idea if both divisions are smart enough to move the doubles back to Thursday Friday & Saturday Sunday races!
I am not too much of a fan of taking the extra vacation days for the wed-Saturday races. They already cut us the number of passes on doubles but forcing us to use more vacation time that some of us may not have is tough.
Just my 2cents. I realize there could be many that are fans of the way they are doing it now.

Tues April 29 test n tune
Wed April 30- May 1 race 1
Fri May 2-3 Race 2

Div3

Mon Sept 29 parking starts
Tues Sept 30 test n tune
Wed Oct 1-2 race 1
Fri Oct 3-4 race 2
