Drive from Denver to Las Vegas

When were heading to the National at Las Vegas from Denver on Rt70 this fall, we would like to stop somewhere in between the two places to site see for a little, problem is we have two rigs 91' that would need parked so we can run around in our track car. Any ideas or suggestions what be great.

Are you looking in the Mountains of Colorado, or possibly somewhere Like Moab Utah?

My son goes to Colorado Mesa University. Actually heading there this weekend for parents weekend. Definitely lots to do there.

Any where along the route. some where easy to park
