Charlotte Spots
 

Currently, there are open spots for every category at Charlotte if anybody wants in any class. It's so funny to me how many people clamber for a spot once a class fills up 6 weeks out only for 20 people to drop in the last 24 hours. I just entered stock and it's still not full. See y'all in a few days!

Side note, currently 27 entered in Pro Mod, going to be an awesome show!

Seems to be a lot of spot saving for racers who have less then 7-8 grade points and saving them for friends who maybe don't have as many grade points and when it comes time to do the swap racers have broken something, decide to not go or they have a credit and don't want to give NHRA the $355 entry fee so they enter then drop so they get that additional year to use it.

That all may be true but up until this morning the forecast was less than favorable. Last night the forecast was showing rain for Thursday Friday and Sunday so I'll admit I was considering dropping myself but figured I would wait until this morning to make a decision. As of now it looks like there could be some rain on Thursday but Friday and Saturday look fine and we all know Thursday was unnecessary anyway.

If people were saving spots it would fill back up when they dropped out. I?m not saying that this isn?t happening some but doesn?t seem to be the case here. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA
