As some of you know, Dodge pulled out of the Hemi Challenge earlier this year. Dad has always loved this race, so I stepped up and sponsored it with the Sox & Martin name. The past few months has been intense as it is way more work than I anticipated. After a lot of conversations with NHRA and some people internally really fighting on our behalf, we came to an agreement for them to run Friday starting at 11am for FREE. It will be on NHRA tv, but I'd really like it if you'd go to Youtube when it goes up and make supportive comments about them doing this. We have to show that if NHRA will show sportsman some love, they'll respond. NHRA will be making the announcement public tonight/tomorrow.

I fought and fought and fought or having Thursday up as well. I think I made enough of a stink that next year it will happen. I know for S/SS guys Thursday would be the better choice, I just couldn't get them there. Baby steps.

You definitely can?t beat watching s/ss class eliminations.
If you can get that for next year that would be AWESOME !!!
