Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
As the title implies, the best part of Nhra.tv has been missing on the broadcasts for a couple weeks. Hope he is ok.

Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
Hmm! I was thinking the same thing. Jason Galvin Joe Castello and Warren Evens do a good job of calling the action but they are not Allan.

Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
Wherever he is, he will be missed!
At an NHRA banquet we had the chance to sit down with him. Talk about a resource and historian! Great stories. I’m sure he will land on his feet. Thank you Alan! |

Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
The rumor I heard floating around is that NHRA is upset with Alan over something he said about Tech and the John Force crash.

Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
We miss hearing him. He's clearly the voice of NHRA.

Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
It was Alan's explanation about why the chutes didn't open. Although
not earth shattering, it pre-empted Tech from saying what they wanted, when they wanted. Worth losing Alan over? Hardly. Every year we seem to get less perks, and to me, listening to Alan is a perk. And he works like a dog, will go anywhere, anytime. Doesn't have any boat anchors to restrict his movements. J.R. |
Re: Where?s Alan Reinhardt?
I thought the video was great and a service to the NHRA. It ended all the speculation about the pins still being in the chute packs.
